Literature Analysis Fahrenheit 451
1) What drew me to this book was the fact that we had to read it for english class. Just by looking at the cover of the book i thought it was gonna end up being pretty boring, but i was totally wrong. i mean its not one of my favorite book but its not bad.
2) What keep me going past the first ten pages was that it was actually pretty interesting, the way that the author predicted some of the things in the book that are actually happening now.
3) My reading habits for this book is just try to read the pages assigned to me so that i fdont get behind in class and have trouble taking the quizes and vocab. If the book i was reading was a book of my choice and it really got my attention i would probably wont stop reading it until i finish it, it has happened before, it actually happens pretty often.
1) The book that i am reading right know is about a world where people are not allowed to read any type of books not even the bible. the fireman in the story are very different. in the story the firemen start the fires instead of putting them out, they acctually burn the books.
2)For me the theme of the novel is not being able to think for yourself and give your own opinion because your afraid of what people might think.
3)The authors tone i fell can be foreboding. There is so many foreboding moments in the story.
- when montag hides the books from beatty
- when montag goes looking for faber
- also when he tries to talk to meldreds friends about the bible
2) I feel like it does change because every character is different like montag he is a totally different person around meldred as well with fiber. Also when it comes to beatty he acts completely different than how he would with meldred and fiber.
3)In the story the protagonist is dynamic because montag changes beliefs against what he used to think about firemen.
4) i feel like i read a character because they were so many things that the author predicted that are happening today
Notes Pg. 100-110
The book is not about censorship
It is about self-determination.
-Montag decides to head back to work and return the book to beatty.
-Montag wanted to burn the mechanical hound but it was not there anymore i'm guessing he probably ran away
-Montag, beatty, and the rest of the firefighters got a call, when they went to their destination they found out it was montags house
-Mildred was the one who called the firemen
-montag burns the house and gets arrested by beatty who then hits him in the head
